In its theatrical run, Beast managed to rake in impressive numbers worldwide. The film grossed a total of ₹234 crore globally, with the domestic market contributing a significant share of ₹115 crore, and overseas markets adding another ₹67 crore to its tally. Tamil Nadu, as expected, was the biggest contributor, bringing in approximately ₹121 crore, followed by other southern states and the Hindi belt, where it garnered decent numbers despite mixed reviews.

The action-packed entertainer, backed by Sun Pictures, was praised for its stylish presentation and Vijay’s screen presence, though the screenplay received mixed reactions. Nevertheless, Beast managed to hold strong, especially in its opening weeks.

Despite facing tough competition from other big release KGF- Chapter 2 during its run, Beast ended up as a below-average performer at the box office. Though it did decent business considering the tough competition, it fell short of expectations and could not emerge as a profitable venture for the makers.
