In India, Amaran collected around₹219 crore net, with a gross of approximately₹255 crore. Tamil Nadu, being the film’s stronghold, grossed around ₹160 crore over its theatrical run.

With a total worldwide gross of ₹335 crore, Amaran emerged as the second-highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024, only behind Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time.
